To get started, ensure you have approved developer accounts for both the App Store (Apple) and Play Store (Google).

Installation

Install & Publish Yourself

To configure and publish your Eventmie Pro FullyLoaded mobile apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, follow these step-by-step instructions:

1. Set Up React Native Development Environment

  • Visit the official React Native website and follow the React Native Environment Setup guide to prepare your development environment for both Android and iOS app development.

{info} NOTE: Eventmie Pro FullyLoaded is a React Native App, not an Expo App. Please ensure you follow the React Native setup instructions.

2. Create a Hello World React Native App

  • Build a basic "Hello World" React Native app on your local machine.
  • Run the app to confirm your development environment is correctly configured and ready for Eventmie Pro FullyLoaded.

3. Set Up Eventmie Pro FullyLoaded React Native App

  • Extract the Eventmie Pro FullyLoaded React Native app package.
  • Install all required dependencies by running: 
    npm install
npx pod-install

4. Run the App in Android Studio and Xcode

  • Open the project in Android Studio (for Android) and Xcode (for iOS).
  • Run the app as you did with the "Hello World" project to ensure everything is working.

5. Update API URL

  • Configure the app to connect to your website by updating the API URL:
    • Open src/config/services.ts and set the API URL to your website's endpoint.

6. Customize Branding

  • Personalize your app by updating the logo, app icon, color scheme, and other branding elements to match your business identity.

7. Rebuild the App

  • Rebuild the app to verify integration with your website and ensure all event data displays correctly.

8. Submit to Play Store and App Store
